The State Committee for Tourism Development reported that the Uzbek authorities have given permission to resume domestic tourism from June 1.
This is provided by the Presidential Decree "On urgent measures to support the tourism sector to reduce the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic".
According to a statement by the Special Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 8, 2020, an analysis of the prevalence of coronavirus infections in the country by region and the dynamics of treatment for patients diagnosed with the disease was carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the "yellow" and "red" areas of the district (the city) in which no coronavirus infection is found at all, in the category "green";
If a coronavirus infection is detected in an area (city) "green" or "yellow", the corresponding area (city) itself is classified as "red" if it does not change the category of the entire region.
Domestic tourism is resumed in the "green" and "yellow" regions. Here it is permitted to resume the activities of tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation, cultural assets and cultural heritage in strict compliance with the established hygiene and hygiene standards and requirements.
In the future, a gradual resumption of inbound tourism with a list of countries whose citizens are allowed to enter Uzbekistan is planned.

Uzbekistan resumes domestic tourism and in some cases outdoor tourism. On May 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On urgent measures to support the tourism sector to reduce the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic".
According to the document, as of June 1, 2020, in the "green" and "yellow" regions, domestic tourism will begin with the activities of related organizations (tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation facilities, cultural, cultural heritage and others) in strict compliance with the established hygiene and hygiene standards resumed and requirements.
In addition, from June 1st, a gradual resumption of inbound tourism will begin with the definition of a list of countries whose citizens are allowed to enter Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan Resumes International Flights 14.06.2020
Uzbekistan Airways gradually resumes international flight to the regions of Uzbekistan. In particular, from June 15, the airline resumes flights from Japan, South Korea, the People's Republic of China and Israel. Passengers who have been in these countries for the last 14 days are NOT QUARANTINED after arrival in Uzbekistan.
Passengers entering from the European Union, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore who have been in these countries for the last 14 days obliged to stay under quarantine for 14 days either in the hotel or at an address notified to the authorities.
Passengers from other countries, including the UAE, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia and other CIS countries, are are subject to a mandatory quarantine period of 14 days.
